   Erosion control in channels
Now there is a new solution providing erosion control and protection for river and channel banks against the erosive force of water which is more economical an better for the enviroment: TRINTER, TRINTER PLUS and TRINTER R volumetric mesh.

THE PROBLEM:

Water flows exert force on the bottoms and slopes of channels, on river banks and in water courses. In the same way, wind, rain and snow exert erosive forces on channels. The sedimentation associated with erosion leads to a reduction in the section of channel, increasing maintenance costs.

APPLICATIONS:

1. River banks and shores of lakes and ponds.
2. Water courses and channels.

PLANNING WITH TRINTER:

Technical requirements.

Technical details:

TRADITIONAL SOLUTIONS:

Traditionally, hard solutions have been used, such as concrete facing (on site or in prefabricated pieces), rock fill and bolsters. These solutions are expensive and have high aesthetic and enviromental impacts (natural elements are scare in the environment).

SOLUTION WITH TRINTER:

Carrying out erosion control and revegetation treatment on channels using TRINTER and TRINTER PLUS volumetric mesh provides a permanently reinforced surface base providing much greater resistance to erosives forces: rain and water flow. As the roots are reinforced with TRINTER, the hole bank provides much greater resistance to the flow of water. The traction force (= force exerted by the flow water) supported by the vegetation + TRINTER taken together doubles that supported by the vegetation alone.
