   Longitudinal drainage in trenches
VIADRAIN is our range of geocomposites for longitudinal drainage in trenches. It is made up of the INTERDRAIN GMG drainage geocomposite, modified to house a grooved drain pipe at the bottom.

Why is VIADRAIN the ideal product forn longitudinal drainage in trenches?

APPLICATIONS:
Longitudinal drainage in trenches in cuttings, urban developments and linear works to bring down water tables and cut of flows of underground water.

PLANNING WITH VIADRAIN:
Technical requirements.

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
Comparison with gravels. References to works. Case study:
Longitudinal drainage in toll motorways (Madrid radial motorways)

VIADRAIN FUNCTIONS:

The VIADRAIN system is installed vertically in a trench, and in this way:

1. It cuts off the routes of water coming from the sides.
2. It collects the water from the platform.
3. It keeps the water table below the system.

VIADRAIN vs FRENCH DRAIN:

1. It makes it possible to reduce the width of the trech.
2. It does not requiere geotextile to wrap the gravels (this is incorporated in VIADRAIN).
3. Gravels are not necessary, as the excavated earth is used to fill in the trench (VIADRAIN does the drainage).
4. The product is assembled from outside the trench (safer system)
5. Operational performance is tripled.
6. It requieres half the workforce.
7. It is a technically better option.

A tecnical study is carried out to select the type of VIADRAIN with a drainage capacity greater than gravel.
VIADRAIN is safer, easier, quicker to put in and more economical (with a minimum cash savings of 50%) alternative to a French drain.
