THE PROBLEM:
The erosion caused by water, wind and snow can have a devastating effect on sloping sites and other exposed areas. Sediments obstruct drainage systems and are deposited beside roads and railway lines, increasing maintenance costs.
THE SOLUTION:
Vegetation is the most effective protection for preventing erosion on slopes. On many sites, vegetable soil or substrate runs the risk of being swept away before vegetation has had time to establish itself. The most difficult slopes to revegetate are those where it is difficult to supply vegetable soil and the existing substrate is not ideal for the growth of vegetation. Erosion control and revegetation treatment using TRINTER provides an innivative solution to these problems.
Why use INTERDRAIN mesh against the effects of erosion on slopes and channels?
Example a piece of slope with TRINTER (left) and other without TRINTER (right)
APPLICATIONS:
1. Cuttings and embankments on roads and railways.
2. Tunnel mouths and false tunnels.
3. System for retaining fines on unstable slopes (triple twist mixed mesh system + TRINTER)
4. Golf courses, grass slopes and gardens.
5. Landfill and basin slopes.
